Information collected automatically
Server logs. When you visit this site, my hosting provider (ALL-INKL.COM, servers in Germany) automatically records technical data such as your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. Logs are only kept as long as necessary for these purposes.
Cloudflare. This site uses Cloudflare to deliver pages faster and protect them against attacks. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request data for this purpose. When a security check is shown, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. More information: Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare Web Analytics. To understand how many people visit this site, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not create personal profiles and does not track you across other websites.
When you contact me
If you email me, I use your email address and the information in your message only to reply to you. I keep this correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose and do not share it with anyone.

This site links to external sites such as LinkedIn. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy of that website applies.
Where your information is stored
This website is hosted in Germany. Cloudflare operates servers worldwide, including in the United States. Your information may therefore be processed outside Canada and may be accessible to authorities in those countries under their laws.
Security
This site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to the website administration is protected by two-factor authentication, and the site is kept up to date and regularly checked for vulnerabilities.

You can ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask me to delete it. Just email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
